“Russ was so easy to work with and understanding from our first encounter. After brief history into into my fitness journey in our first session, he immediately understood my past habits/experiences and was able to make recommendations. I’ve had other personal trainers that used fear/shame/guilt tactics and talking about health risks related to being overweight to get me to sign up. Russ just trusted that by scheduling first meeting, I was dedicated and motivated to start, no shame or fear necessary. I loved Russ’ no pressure, empathetic approach.

As someone starting back at the gym again with significant amount of weight lose, he met me exactly where I was. The training went so far beyond simply showing how to execute a workout, he made an effort to understand me, my habits, and help me build confidence. In fact, during one of our first sessions together, Russ had me walk around the free weights and notice that no one was looking at me, no one cared, and there was no reason to be uncomfortable.
